Unless otherwise noted, all events are free and will be held both in-person at our Omaha office (7601 Pacific St.) and virtually on Zoom, with programming beginning at 5 pm. However, feel free to come to the office or join the Zoom meeting at 4 pm for a social hour.

Running (& Recruiting) for Office 101
Have you ever thought about running for office? You absolutely should! Join us for "Running for Office 101," where we’ll discuss important considerations for anyone thinking about running in 2026 or later. Even if you aren't yet considering a run, we will also provide resources on how to identify and recruit outstanding candidates.

Utilizing AI to Understand Bills & Interact with Government

Jason will demonstrate how to utilize AI to comprehend complex legislation and formulate talking points for engaging with peers and lawmakers.

Data & Digital Security Training 
With Sandy Griffin
Join us to learn about digital safety best practices, communication strategies, and how to manage passwords, devices, and internet connections. Sandy will also teach us how to set up Google Voice for phone banking!

Field Trip to Brownville Village Theatre! 
7:30pm Show Start
Carpools will leave the Omaha Office (7601 Pacific St) at 5:30pm
Join us for a special field trip to the Brownville Village Theatre to see the play "For the Protection of Girls." This show tells the stories of three women in American history whose contributions have been largely forgotten. In light of our current political climate, we aim to share a narrative that empowers women, both past and present, and inspires hope for the future. The first 10 registrations will receive a FREE ticket; after that, tickets will be $15.

Nebraska Legislature 101
With Rainbow Parents of Nebraska
Did you know our state legislature can introduce up to 1,120 bills per session? And every single one of them gets a hearing! Join Rainbow Parents of Nebraska to learn how to track bills,  testify at hearings, and make your voice heard with our legislators.

Nebraska's constitution permits citizens to propose new laws and constitutional amendments, as well as repeal laws enacted by the legislature. Learn more about our rights to legislate and proposed legislation that may limit these rights.
